Such a pretty and lovely pic! :-)
I love that quote! And the one on the window, what did you use? Chandra
Hi Chandra, I used Photoshop to add in the text and also a couple of Kim Klassen's layers to add a bit of softness to the photos. If you've never played with Kim's textures, you're in for a treat! Definitely addictive! :) http://www.kimklassencafe.com/thecafe
I hadn't seen that quote before -- very sweet. Love the cacti in the window.Hugs,Kay
Thanks, Kay. I just found that quote and thought it perfectly described the peace I find in my windowsill everyday. It's from Anne Morrow Lindbergh's book Gift from the Sea, which is on my list of things to read. I've heard it's wonderful!
you have a garden of sweet cacti. i have just the one and its growing rather viciously. :)
Thanks, I really enjoy my cacti and succulents (except that I've managed to kill most of the succulents). I added two new ones yesterday. One of them is a very funny-looking cactus that my daughter had picked out one day, but I talked her out of buying it because I said it looked like it might be sick (when really, I just think it's a weird cactus). But a week later we were back and saw that he was the only little cactus left--nobody else wanted him either! So we adopted him and he's actually as cute as he can be nestled in among all the others :).
Thank you for being kind with your words and generous with your time!
